By accessing or using the Hotel Amrit Palace website, making a reservation, or staying at our property, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Guest" or "User") and Hotel Amrit Palace, located at Civil Lines, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India ("Hotel," "we," "us," or "our").

If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our website or services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

Booking Confirmation

A reservation is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a written confirmation from Hotel Amrit Palace via email or WhatsApp. Verbal confirmations are not binding.

• Valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in for all guests.
• The name on the reservation must match the primary guest's identification document.
• Reservations made through third-party platforms are subject to both our Terms and the respective platform's policies.
• We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest for legitimate reasons including but not limited to prior violations of our policies.

Check-in & Check-out

• Standard check-in time: 12:00 PM (noon) IST.
• Standard check-out time: 11:00 AM IST.
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
• Failure to check out by the designated time may result in charges for an additional night.

Payment Terms

All rates are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without prior notice except for confirmed reservations.

• Full payment or a security deposit may be required at the time of booking or check-in.
• We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, UPI, and bank transfers.
• Corporate billing arrangements require prior written approval from hotel management.
• Any damages to hotel property will be charged to the guest's account.

Additional Charges

• Room service, minibar consumption, and in-room dining are billed separately.
• Parking facilities, if applicable, are charged at prevailing daily rates.
• All applicable government taxes (GST) are charged as per current regulations.
• International transaction fees, if any, are borne by the guest.

Standard Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our operations.

• Cancellations made 72 hours or more before check-in: Full refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations made 48–72 hours before check-in: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in: No refund.
• No-shows without prior notice: Full booking amount will be charged.
• Early departures are treated as late cancellations for the remaining nights.

Special Events & Peak Season

During peak seasons, festivals, and special events, stricter cancellation policies may apply. These will be communicated at the time of booking.

• Non-refundable rates are clearly marked and cannot be cancelled or modified.
• Refunds, when applicable, are processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.) are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Code of Conduct

Hotel Amrit Palace is committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for all guests and staff. All guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with this commitment.

• Guests are responsible for the behavior of all members of their party, including visitors.
• Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or any activity that disturbs other guests is strictly prohibited.
• Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. Smoking in rooms will incur a deep-cleaning fee of ₹2,000 or more.
• Pets are not permitted on the premises unless prior written approval has been obtained.
• Visitors must be registered at the front desk and are subject to the same conduct standards.

Prohibited Activities

• Illegal activities of any nature on hotel premises.
• Possession or consumption of unauthorized substances.
• Unauthorized commercial activities, photography, or filming on hotel grounds.
• Tampering with safety equipment, fire alarms, or emergency systems.
• Subletting or transferring room occupancy to third parties.

Limitation of Liability

Hotel Amrit Palace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your stay or use of our services, except where prohibited by applicable law.

• The Hotel is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to guest valuables. Safe deposit facilities are available at the front desk.
• Guests are advised to secure their room at all times and report any suspicious activity immediately.
• The Hotel is not liable for services provided by third-party vendors, transportation, or partner platforms.
• Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific stay in question.

Guest Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hotel Amrit Palace, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your stay at our property.

Data Collection & Use

We collect personal information necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable data protection regulations.

• Personal data (name, contact information, ID details) is collected for reservation and legal compliance purposes.
• Payment information is processed securely and never stored on our servers.
• We may use your contact information to send booking confirmations, updates, and promotional communications.
• You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us.
• Guest data is retained only as long as required by applicable law or legitimate business purposes.

CCTV & Security

Hotel Amrit Palace operates CCTV cameras in common areas for the safety and security of all guests and staff. Footage is retained for 30 days and accessed only when required for security investigations.

Hotel Amrit Palace reserves the right to update, amend, or replace these Terms of Service at any time at our sole discretion. The updated Terms will be posted on our website with the effective date.

Material changes to these Terms will be communicated to registered guests via email where possible. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. The date of the most recent revision is displayed at the top of this page.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India.

• Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
• If negotiation fails, disputes may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
• The prevailing party in any dispute shall be entitled to recover reasonable legal fees and costs.
• Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable Indian law.
